Playing a song on YouTube or Spotify? If its chords are on Join My Jam, a button appears. If they are not, nothing does.

About Join My Jam Chords for Chrome
Hear a song. Play a song.
Join My Jam holds a growing catalog of songs with chords, across languages and
world music, and this extension connects it to whatever is playing in your
browser.
While a track plays on YouTube, YouTube Music, or Spotify, a small "Chords"
button appears next to it. One click opens that song's chord chart on
joinmyjam.com.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
The button only appears when we are certain.
Most "find the chords" extensions guess, and drop you on a search page or an
empty result. This one asks our catalog whether that exact song — title AND
performer — is published, and draws nothing at all unless the answer is yes.
So it stays quiet on a lot of songs, and when it does appear, the chords are
one click away. No dead ends.
WHAT IT SENDS
The track title and the performer name, to our server, to answer that one
question. Nothing else: not the page you are on, not an account, no cookies,
no tracking, no analytics. Requests are anonymous and are not tied to a person.
PERMISSIONS
- YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify: to read the title of the track playing and
to place the button next to it.
- joinmyjam.com: to ask whether that song is in the catalog.
That is the entire list.
