The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About JK Shortcut
What's new in 1.1.5
- Added a shortcut to open and close the main window (default Alt+Shift+K). Press it once to open the settings window, press it again to close it.
- Clicking the toolbar icon now opens and closes the settings window.
- Pressing Esc in the settings window saves your changes and closes it.
- The 'Open/close the main window' entry now appears at the top of the shortcuts list.
- The settings window opens as a separate window so it can be used alongside your work.
What's new in 1.1.4
- The settings screen now opens in a separate popup window (800 x 600). Click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+K.
- Alt+Shift+K toggles the settings window open and closed.
- Esc closes the settings window. Any pending edit is saved just before it closes.
- A small toast confirms when changes are saved.
- In the paste-overwrite confirmation dialog, the Left/Right arrow keys move between the buttons, and the focused button is clearly highlighted.
- Fixed the horizontal scrollbar that appeared at the popup window width.
v1.1.3 Update
- The paste-overwrite confirmation dialog can now be used entirely with the keyboard.
- "Overwrite" gets focus by default, so you can press Enter right away.
- Enter = overwrite, Esc = cancel.
- Left/Right arrow keys move between "Cancel" and "Overwrite".
- The focused button is clearly highlighted.
- When a save finishes, a brief notification appears at the bottom of the screen, so you can see it even when you have scrolled down.
v1.1.2 Update
- The paste-overwrite confirmation dialog is now fully keyboard-controllable.
- "Overwrite" is focused by default, so you can just press Enter.
- Enter confirms and applies the pasted values.
- Esc cancels and keeps your existing entries.
- After confirming or cancelling, focus returns to the field you were editing.
v1.1.1 Update
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where a blank or new-tab page was not reused when a shortcut
was pressed, causing a duplicate tab to open. Blank/new-tab pages are now
detected reliably and reused for the current tab.
Improvements
- More reliable saving: if settings exceed the sync size limit or sync is
unavailable, they are saved on this device automatically and the status
indicator lets you know.
- Dangerous URLs (javascript:, vbscript:, data:) are blocked from being saved
and the URL field shows a warning.
- Bulk paste now asks for confirmation before overwriting existing entries.
- Pressing a shortcut for an empty or disabled slot shows badge feedback
(! / OFF) instead of doing nothing.
- "Select all (On)" now reflects the real state of all slots, including a
partial selection state.
- Added a shortcut mapping guide at the top of the settings page.
[JK Shortcut v1.1.0.0 Changelog]
1. Management popup width expanded
- Increased popup min-width from 720px to 800px (Chrome popup max limit)
- Full width when opened as options tab
2. Current shortcut column added
- Added Current Shortcut column to main table
- New layout: Slot / Site Name / Site URL / New Tab / On / Current Shortcut
- Shows live shortcuts from chrome.commands, displays as Not set when empty
3. Mapping guide section removed
- Removed bottom mapping guide table for cleaner UI
- Chrome Shortcut Mapping button in header remains
4. Tab opening logic improved
- Blank tabs (chrome://newtab, about:blank, etc.) now overwrite current tab regardless of New Tab setting
- System pages (chrome://, edge://, brave://, opera://, about:, extension pages) with readable URL always open in new tab
- System pages with hidden URL (url="") cannot be distinguished due to browser security policy, so they follow the New Tab setting (simplified tradeoff)
v1.0.9.4 Update
- Auto language detection based on browser language (Korean for ko, English for all other languages, default is English)
- Removed manual KO/EN toggle buttons, switched to automatic detection
- Removed unnecessary Description column from Shortcut Mapping Guide, now shows only Slot and Current Shortcut
- Fixed manifest.json default_locale error (Fixed: default_locale must be specified when using translated messages)
- Cleaned up hardcoded texts in options page and fixed i18n system to work correctly when forcing English
