About JDFit - Check each job requirement against your resume
JDFit compares each requirement in the job posting you're viewing against your resume: what you clearly meet, what you partially meet, and where the gaps are. You get a fit score, then tailor your resume yourself before you apply.
What JDFit supports
- LinkedIn and supported applicant tracking system (ATS) career sites, such as Greenhouse and Ashby, are what we support today, read through the JDFit Chrome extension. More job boards to follow.
- US-based roles only. Roles based in other countries are not officially supported.
- Job descriptions and resumes written in English only.
How it works
- Open a posting on LinkedIn or a supported ATS career site, such as Greenhouse or Ashby, and click the toolbar icon. The side panel opens next to it.
- Click Analyze. Nothing from the page is sent until you do, except the one link match below. Before that, the extension only loads results you've already saved.
- Each requirement gets a verdict (met, partially met or gap) with the evidence from your own experience.
- Optional: turn on supported sites in the panel's Permissions tab to read those pages without the icon click, get an Analyze button on the page and see each line of an analyzed posting marked by verdict. With it on, when a LinkedIn posting or its apply link is a job you already analyzed, the extension sends those two links to connect them.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't rewrite your resume or invent experience. You write every word.
- It doesn't read other sites or pages in the background. It reads the tab you open the panel on, and pages you open on supported sites only after you turn that on.
- It doesn't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Account and price
You need an account at app.jdfit.io, and you add your resume in the web app, not in the extension. Every account starts with a free trial of 7 days or 5 analyses, whichever comes first; re-analyses and tailored checks count toward the 5. After that, the Personal plan is $11/month, with 35% off for students and 55% off for military, veterans and military spouses.
