The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Jamagi — Live Translated Subtitles
Watch streams in any language, without waiting for someone to translate them.
Jamagi puts live translated subtitles on the stream you are already watching. The streamer sets up nothing. You move to no other site. You turn it on right where you always watch.
■ How it works
1. Leave the stream playing and click the extension icon
2. Pick the language you hear, and the language you want to read
3. Press Start
■ What you get
· Works on any site — if the page plays sound, it works. YouTube, Twitch, Chzzk and SOOP included.
· Original alongside translation — read the translation on its own, or both lines at once.
· Style it your way — set the position, size, font and colour yourself.
· Fullscreen safe — blow the video up and the subtitles come with it.
· 12 spoken languages recognised, subtitles in 26.
■ What happens to the audio
· No microphone. Only the audio of the tab you started subtitles on.
· No browsing history, no page content, and the tab's address is never sent to our servers.
· Audio is never stored. It is processed live, discarded when the session ends, and never used to train AI.
· Press stop and the audio stops being sent immediately.
■ Pricing
Sign up and three minutes open right away, with no payment details. After that, subscribe monthly or just top up the hours you need.
■ Good to know
Protected video such as Netflix does not hand over its audio, so subtitles will not appear there.
