The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About IP & Anonymity Checker
IP & Anonymity Checker gives you an instant, honest snapshot of how your connection looks from the outside — no sign-up, no account, no data stored.
WHAT IT SHOWS YOU
• Your current public IP address, city, region and country
• Your ISP / network provider and ASN
• Whether your IP is flagged as a proxy, VPN or hosting provider
• Whether your browser's timezone matches your IP's location
• A live WebRTC leak test — the #1 way proxies and VPNs get "detected" even when the rest of your traffic looks clean
WHY WEBRTC LEAKS MATTER
Many proxies and VPNs only redirect your regular web traffic, but WebRTC (used for video calls and some web apps) can bypass that and reveal your real IP address directly to any website that asks for it. This extension checks for exactly that, and lets you enable Chrome's built-in WebRTC leak protection with a single click if a leak is found.
PRIVACY
This extension has no backend server. It talks directly, from your browser, to two public IP lookup APIs (ipwho.is and free.freeipapi.com) to fetch the information shown above, and nothing else. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no data is ever stored or sent anywhere else. Full privacy policy: https://toproxylab.com/extension-privacy
WHO IT'S FOR
Useful for anyone checking whether their proxy or VPN is actually hiding their IP, for developers testing geo-restricted content, or simply for anyone curious about what a website can see about their connection.
