Instagram View History

Ever scrolled past something great on Instagram and couldn't find it again? View History fixes that. This extension automatically tracks the posts and reels you see while browsing Instagram on your desktop. No manual saving, no bookmarking — just scroll like you normally would and everything is quietly logged. ✦ HOW IT WORKS View History runs silently in the background while you browse instagram.com. It captures posts and reels as Instagram loads them, storing thumbnails, usernames, and captions so you can search and find them later. ✦ FEATURES • Automatic tracking — no buttons to press, it just works • Visual grid — browse your history like an Instagram feed • Search — find posts by username or caption keywords • Filter — show all, only reels, or only posts • Delete individual items — remove anything from your history • Export — download your full history as JSON • Privacy first — all data stays in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere ✦ PRIVACY Your view history is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone. There are no analytics, no tracking, no servers. Uninstalling the extension deletes all stored data. ✦ NOTE This extension works on instagram.com (desktop web). It does not work with the Instagram mobile app.
