Impulse Breaker

The site blocker that works with you, not against you Impulse Breaker helps you become more intentional about how you spend your time online. Where other site blockers create friction and irritation — leading you to just disable or uninstall them the moment you're tempted — Impulse Breaker gives your brain the time it needs to make a real decision. Here's the idea: impulses fade. The urge to check Instagram "just for a second" rarely survives thirty seconds of waiting. Impulse Breaker doesn't lock you out — it just slows you down long enough for the impulse to pass, so you decide whether to continue, not your autopilot. - Add any site you want to be more mindful of — Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, or anything else that eats your time. - Set a short wait time. When you visit a blocked site, you'll see a calm countdown instead of the page itself. No shame, no lockout — just a pause. - Set a daily limit. Decide how many times a day you actually want to allow yourself through. Once you've used them, the site is off-limits until tomorrow. - Choose to continue or walk away. When the countdown ends, the decision is yours. Often, just waiting is enough to realize you didn't really want to open the site in the first place. Why it's different Most blockers are all-or-nothing: block the site completely, and the moment it gets in your way, you turn it off — and you're back to square one. Impulse Breaker is designed to be sustainable. It respects that you're an adult who gets to choose, while still giving your slower, more deliberate thinking a chance to catch up with your impulses. Everything — your blocked sites, your settings, your usage stats — stays on your device. Nothing is ever sent to an external server. You can clear your data at any time.
