Image to Text OCR: copy text and tables

Image to text in Chrome: right-click an image, paste a screenshot or drop a file. OCR runs on your device and copies the text, or a whole table, straight to your clipboard. THREE WAYS TO USE IT Right-click an image on any web page and choose "Copy text" or "Copy as table". A second later it is in your clipboard. No area to select, no upload, no website to open. Paste a screenshot. For anything you can't right-click (a video frame, a PDF viewer, a desktop app): take a screenshot to the clipboard, click the extension icon and press Ctrl+V. Drop a file. Click the icon and drop an image or a PDF from your computer, or choose one. PDFs with a text layer are read directly, with tables intact. TABLES THAT PASTE AS CELLS Choose "Copy as table" and the rows and columns are recognised. Paste into Google Sheets, Excel or Numbers and every value lands in its own cell. Paste into Docs or an email and you get a real table. A screenshot of a spreadsheet comes back as just the data, without row numbers and column letters. Image to Excel without retyping a single number. WORKS BEST ON Screenshots, tables and spreadsheets, invoices and statements, scanned pages. Photos taken at an angle and handwriting are hit and miss. When the text can't be read, the extension says so instead of copying garbage. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The recognition engine, the language models and the PDF reader are all inside the extension. Nothing is uploaded, there is no server, no account and no analytics. The extension asks for no access to websites: it reads only the image you pick. LANGUAGES English and German models are included.
