About Image to Layer — Layer Split Examples
Image to Layer — Layer Split Examples is a free, offline library of 26 image to layer examples from image2layers.org. See how a flat image comes apart into editable layers before you split your own.
What you can do
- Browse 26 layered examples: posters, product photos, logos, app screenshots, social posts, illustrations and character art — 110 layers in all
- Search by image type or layer name (poster, logo, product, text, background…) in English or Chinese
- Filter by category: posters & designs, product photos, portraits, characters, illustrations, screens & scenes
- Open an example and switch each layer on or off, or hover a layer to isolate it — like the Layers panel in Photoshop
- See which layers are text: text comes back as pixels, not live type
- Select text on any page, right-click, and search the examples for it
- Right-click an image to open Image to Layer and split it into a layered PSD
Privacy
The examples ship inside the extension, so browsing makes no network requests. No data is collected: no analytics, no account. The only permission is contextMenus, for the two right-click entries.
Good for
- Designers who only have a flat PNG or JPG and need a layered PSD
- Sellers preparing product images with a background they can swap
- Anyone checking whether an image will split cleanly into layers
About the examples
They are illustrative samples prepared for image2layers.org. Each layer is full-canvas and transparent around its content, so the stack rebuilds the picture and saves as a layered PSD.
