Image Collector — Product Images & Batch Download

Turn product images from across the web into a traceable, organized research library. Capture a full page or save individual images from the hover toolbar, keep their source context, and continue your work in a local Chrome side panel. CORE FEATURES • Capture the current page: preview images already loaded on the page, filter by dimensions, product name or SKU, then save or download your selection • Hover capture: enable the toolbar when you want it, then download an image or add it to your library without leaving the page • Local image library: browse in a grid, select multiple items, reorder them, and import local files or image links • Source context: preserve the page URL and original image URL, plus product title, price, currency, store and SKU when the page exposes them • Research organization: use projects, selection stages, tags, notes, favorites, search and filters • Batch download: save groups of images as originals or compressed JPEG files • Local intelligence: group visually similar images and apply explainable categories without uploading your images • Link checks: run optional checks for broken source links and retain recent status details • Backup and restore: export and import images, projects, smart folders, rules and monitoring settings while skipping duplicates • Research CSV: export selected items or the current filtered view with their source and product context GET STARTED 1. Open a regular product or research page. 2. Select Image Collector from the Chrome toolbar to open the side panel. 3. Choose “Capture page images” to preview and select images, or enable hover capture to save them one at a time. 4. Create or select a project, organize your shortlist, and export it when ready. Chrome Web Store pages and browser-internal pages cannot be captured. You can still import local images to start a library. LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY • Your library is stored locally in your browser by default. • Basic capture, organization, search, backup and local analysis do not require an account. • The current free Preview exposes local research features only. Billing, cloud sync, teams and OCR upload are not enabled. • The extension does not silently transmit your images or browsing activity to the developer. RESEARCH PRO PREVIEW The local Preview is currently free for extension users and does not require a credit card. It includes projects, selection stages, automation rules, research CSV export, similarity cleanup and optional link monitoring. Cloud sync, history restore, OCR, teams and multi-device features remain unavailable until their services are deployed and verified. LIMITATIONS Page capture scans images that are already loaded in the current page. Scroll first, then refresh the scan if needed. CSS background images, embedded frames, temporary Blob URLs and automatic pagination are not supported. Product fields depend on what the page exposes; verify prices and SKUs before making a decision. Image Collector is designed for product research, competitive research, ecommerce operations, design references and organized visual research.
