About Image Background Remover
πΈ Image Background Remover cuts the subject out of a photo and hands back a transparent PNG. Marketplace cards, avatars, slide decks, collages: the object in the frame is right and the backdrop behind it is wrong.
Image Background Remover takes the picture you already have, finds the subject, and returns a PNG with a transparent background behind it. Fine edges (hair, glass, thin halos) can be improved with one click. Improve is a second press on that one row after a panel that names the extra pass. No credits, no watermark.
π Three steps through Image Background Remover
1. Click the icon and add an image to the workspace window.
2. Processing starts automatically; review the cut-out on the checkerboard.
3. Press save, and a transparent PNG lands in your downloads folder.
βοΈ What Image Background Remover does to an image
1οΈβ£ Cut out - the remover separates the subject from the backdrop and writes a real alpha channel into a PNG.
2οΈβ£ Batch - drop up to 30 images and each one gets its own row, its own progress and its own cancel.
3οΈβ£ Flatten - set the result on a flat colour instead, for the times a file has to stay opaque.
4οΈβ£ Improve - one extra press per row, for the frames where the first edge is thin.
5οΈβ£ Save - one image comes back as a PNG, several come back as a single ZIP.

𧩠The jobs people bring here
1. Marketplace cards: remove the backdrop from image after image, so every listing sits on the same white.
2. Print work: a PNG with a transparent background, ready before the layout starts.
3. Quick mockups: remove the backdrop from a phone shot, then drop it straight into the deck.
β¨ Improve, the extra press on one row
Some frames are hard: flyaway hair, glass, pale fur on a pale wall. Improve is a separate press on that one row. The first press opens a panel; after you confirm, a copy of that picture goes for a stronger cut, and the workspace shows the new PNG. Improve allows 10 requests per installation in each 30-day period.
For a difficult patch of hair or glass, apply Improve to that photo and review the new edge. When several photos are processing, follow each one's progress or cancel it independently. Save a transparent PNG, fill the cut-out with a flat colour, or export a JPEG on white to suit the destination.
π Built for the pictures a phone actually takes
βΈ Files up to 50 MB and images up to 40 megapixels.
βΈ The remover works from the source pixels: the alpha is upscaled against the untouched original, so a 40 MP shot returns at 40 MP.
βΈ PNG, JPEG and WebP go in; the result keeps a real alpha channel.
βΈ Output choices: transparent PNG, flat colour, or JPEG on white.
βΈ A brush on the result strip restores or erases the mask when a small area still needs a hand.
πͺ A separate workspace window
Image Background Remover opens a separate window. Select a photo in the strip to preview or edit it. Add more photos during processing, or cancel the selected photo without stopping the others.
π₯ Who opens Image Background Remover every week

β Frequently asked questions
π How does Improve work
π‘ Improve is an extra press on one row. The first press opens a panel; after you confirm, that picture gets a stronger cut and the workspace shows the new result next to the first cut.
π Do I need a graphics card
π‘ No. The remover uses a graphics card when your browser exposes one, and otherwise runs a slower path that returns the same kind of result.
π Can I open HEIC or RAW
π‘ Those are refused with a named reason and one next step: export a JPEG or PNG and drop that.
π Is there anything to buy
π‘ No. No purchases, no subscription, and no watermark on what you save.
π Can I change the background after the cut
π‘ Yes. Keep the transparent PNG, fill a flat colour, or export a JPEG on white; the remover keeps the cut-out on the row while you switch.
π How many pictures at once
π‘ Up to 30 files, or 300 MB, in one drop. Each row has its own progress and its own cancel.
π― Install Image Background Remover, drop an image in, and walk away with the subject on a transparent background. Use it as a transparent background maker when a listing, a slide or a sticker needs a clean cut-out. Each result is a PNG with a real alpha channel.
