illi - mouse gesture video control

illi is a video speed controller for YouTube that you drive with mouse gestures instead of keyboard shortcuts or tiny player buttons. Drag anywhere on the screen to change playback, from 0.25x to 5x. No hunting for sliders, no memorizing hotkeys. Your hands stay on the mouse and your eyes stay on what you are watching. FASTER OR SLOWER. Drag up to go faster, down to go slower, in fine steps. illi remembers your preferred pace per channel. NAVIGATE WITHOUT THE PROGRESS BAR. Scrub forward and back with a horizontal gesture. BOOKMARK MOMENTS. Pin timestamps on the progress bar and jump back to them anytime. Your bookmarks persist across sessions. YOUR FURTHEST POINT, ALWAYS MARKED. illi keeps a tick on the bar at the furthest spot you have watched. Skip back to rewatch anything you want, and that mark stays put, so you can always jump straight to the furthest you had reached. AUTO-PAUSE. Leave the tab and illi pauses, come back and it resumes. WHO IT IS FOR. Online learners, developers following along in code, students reviewing lectures, anyone who watches video with a purpose. WORKS ON. YouTube, including embeds, on desktop Chrome. More video platforms are on the way. YOUR DATA. illi keeps your settings and bookmarks on your device and syncs them to your illi account when you are signed in, so they follow you across devices. No browsing history, no tracking what you watch, no data sold. Usage stats are optional and can be turned off. Free for 7 days, no credit card. Then $7/month, or $2/month for the first 1,000 founding members.
