Instagram Pro Tools: The Ultimate Desktop Viewing Experience 👑 Tired of Instagram's clunky desktop layout and restricted video players? Instagram Pro Tools is a lightweight, one-click solution designed to give you back your screen space and unlock full control over your media. Whether you're browsing in split-screen while multitasking or just want a distraction-free, cinematic view, this extension transforms the IG web interface into a premium experience. Key Features: 🎬 Theater Mode: Instantly hide the comment sidebar and expand photos/videos to fill 100% of the available space. Perfect for high-quality, distraction-free viewing. ⏪ Unlocked Native Video Controls: Stop dealing with Instagram's restricted video player! We inject native HTML5 video controls, allowing you to pause, seek/scrub through videos, adjust volume precisely, and enter true full-screen mode. 🔊 Smart Volume Memory: Annoyed that Instagram constantly resets your volume level when you scroll to a new video? Our extension actively intercepts Instagram's internal mute commands and strictly preserves your exact volume slider position across the entire platform. 🚫 Hide the Pause Overlay: Tired of that giant, white play button blocking the center of the screen every time you pause a video? Toggle it OFF and enjoy a clean, unobstructed view of every frame. ⚡ Toggle on the Fly: Use our sleek dark-mode popup menu to turn features on or off instantly without refreshing the page. 🔒 Privacy Focused: No tracking, no data collection, and zero lag. Built on a highly-optimized Manifest V3 engine that runs entirely on your local machine. Level up your Instagram experience today. 🚀 Known Limitations & Store Warning: Important Note: Instagram frequently updates its platform with obfuscated code and changing layouts. While IG Pro Tools is actively maintained to provide a premium theater-mode experience, some features may occasionally require updates to remain compatible with Instagram's latest changes. This is a "best-effort" tool designed for power users who want more control over their viewing experience. If you encounter layout glitches, simply refreshing the page or toggling Theater Mode off and on will usually resolve the issue. V8.1.6 - Major Stability & UX Update 🛠️ Fixed & Upgraded Reel Modal "Black Screen" Resolved: Fixed a critical bug where opening a 9:16 vertical Reel in a profile modal would result in a collapsed black screen. We re-engineered our layout CSS with robust alignment rules to guarantee videos instantly fill the modal. Aspect-Ratio Scaling Fix: Deployed a dynamic "Padding Hack Destructor" that aggressively prevents Instagram's native Reels padding from stretching videos beyond your screen bounds, ensuring a perfect, uncropped cinematic fit. Global Volume Shield (V8.1.5): Solved the infamous looping mute bug. The extension now actively intercepts Instagram's React Virtual DOM globally across the Home Feed and profiles, mathematically forcing Instagram to respect your saved volume and mute preferences. Native Control Persistence: Defeated Instagram's aggressive UI overlays that were stripping native controls off profile videos, permanently locking the native Chrome HTML5 controls onto the screen for uninterrupted scrubbing.
