Idea Capture

Instantly capture ideas as text or screenshots from any tab — before you lose the moment. 100% free, local-only storage. **Detailed description:** Idea Capture helps you save promising ideas the instant they strike — without breaking your flow or switching apps. Ideas (especially the good, monetizable ones) tend to show up while you're browsing, reading, or scrolling — and disappear just as fast if you don't write them down right away. Idea Capture lets you jot down a thought or grab a screenshot in seconds, right from whatever page you're on. Features: 📝 Instant capture — press Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Shift+I on Mac) anywhere to open a floating capture box on the page, no need to click anything 🖱️ Right-click to save — select text and save it as an idea, or capture a screenshot of the page instantly from the context menu 📷 Screenshot support — attach a screenshot of what you're looking at to any idea 🏷️ Tags — organize ideas with optional tags like "business idea" or "monetization" so you can find them later 📚 Notes library — browse, search, and filter all your saved ideas in one place 💾 Export/Import — back up your ideas as a JSON file or move them to another machine 🔒 Local-only storage — everything stays in your browser via chrome.storage.local; nothing is sent anywhere Completely free to use, with no account or sign-up required.
