IceWhisperer Capture

IceWhisperer Capture saves the page you're already reading into your private, self-hosted IceWhisperer brain — so your team's Encompass knowledge compounds instead of evaporating into browser history. WHAT IT DOES • One-click save of the current page (forum thread, Resource Center article, Developer Connect doc, Basecamp post) • Sends page text + clean Markdown to your local IceWhisperer brain at http://localhost:8787 • Tag pages on the way in for easy recall later • Skip duplicates automatically — never save the same URL twice • Works only on the supported domains you've explicitly enabled WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • Does NOT scrape, crawl, or auto-fetch anything in the background • Does NOT log in for you, store your credentials, or use your session to pull additional pages • Does NOT send your data to any third party — your brain is on your machine, period • Does NOT read pages you aren't actively viewing LEGAL POSITION This is the same model as Pocket, Readwise, and Notion Web Clipper: you are the human reading the page, the extension just captures what's already on your screen so you can find it again later. We never act on your behalf and never touch a service without you clicking save. REQUIRES A running IceWhisperer brain on your machine. Free download and 60-day pilot at https://icewhisperer.ai NOT AFFILIATED IceWhisperer is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ICE Mortgage Technology, Encompass, or Intercontinental Exchange. PRIVACY No telemetry. No analytics. No accounts. The extension talks only to localhost. See https://icewhisperer.ai/privacy
