About HypeKnife | Hype & BS Detector

Every "I made $347k in 30 days" post uses the same handful of tricks. HypeKnife names them. Select any text on any page, right-click, and choose "Slice with HypeKnife" - or click the toolbar icon to slice the page you're already on. In about ten seconds you get a Hype Report: • A 0-100 Hype Score, with a plain-English verdict • Every claim extracted and tagged verifiable, unverifiable, or opinion • The persuasion patterns detected, each with the quote that triggered it • What the content leaves out: costs, failure rates, typical results • A permanent shareable link to the full report THE TEN PATTERNS WE CHECK Unverifiable income claims · Survivorship bias · Urgency and scarcity pressure · "Everyone else is wrong" framing · Hidden funnels · Vague credentials · Cherry-picked math · Lifestyle flexing as proof · Guarantee language · Missing typical results WORKS ON X posts and threads (retrieved through the official X API, threads expanded automatically), X and LinkedIn articles, Substack and beehiiv posts, blogs, sales pages, and any long-form page you can read in your browser. WHAT IT ANALYSES, AND WHAT IT DOESN'T HypeKnife analyses CONTENT, never people. A high score does not mean the author is dishonest and does not mean their claims are false - it means the content leans on patterns commonly found in misleading marketing. We never label anything a scam or fraud. There are no creator scores, profiles, or rankings. Every report carries that disclaimer, and the full methodology is public at hypeknife.com/how-it-works. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Three things this extension cannot do: read your browsing history, run on pages in the background, or see any page you didn't explicitly hand it. It requests four permissions and nothing more, injects only on your click, and the only server it ever talks to is ours. No ads, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, no data sales. PRICING Free: 2 slices a day, no account needed. Slice packs are one-time purchases and never expire: Tanto $8 for 100, Katana $12 for 200, Yari $24 for 500. No subscription, nothing auto-renews. Full reports and shareable links on every tier. HypeKnife is automated, opinion-based analysis of content patterns, not factual determinations about any person or business. It is not financial, legal, or investment advice.
