About Humid
Humid is a self-custodial wallet for the Liquid network, built to explore what using Simplicity smart contracts could feel like.
Create or import a wallet, hold and send Liquid assets, and connect to dApps. Every transaction is shown clearly before you approve the spend.
⚠️ Humid is experimental software and a proof of concept. Use it at your own risk and only with funds you can afford to lose.
WALLET
• Create a new wallet or import one with a 12-word recovery phrase
• Send and receive L-BTC and other Liquid assets
• See balances and transaction history for each asset
• Manage multiple accounts
• Use Liquid mainnet, Liquid Testnet, or your own custom networks
• Sync through Esplora or Waterfalls servers, including your own
DAPP CONNECTIONS
• Websites can connect to Humid the same way they connect to other browser wallets
• Review and sign transactions (PSETs), including Simplicity smart contract transactions
• Sign messages and prove ownership of your wallet's identity key
• See and revoke every site you have connected to
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
• Your recovery phrase and keys are encrypted with your password and never leave your device
• Websites see nothing until you approve a connection, and every signature needs your explicit approval
• The wallet locks itself automatically after a timeout you choose
• No accounts, no sign-up, and no analytics or tracking
OPEN STANDARDS
Humid implements proposed Elements Improvement Proposals (ELIPs):
• Wallet RPC, a common interface between dApps and wallets
• Transaction Manifest, for building and signing Simplicity transactions
• Simplicity Clear Signing (partially), so you can see exactly what a transaction does before you sign
