The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About htmlEdit — Edit this page

htmlEdit lets you edit any web page like a document. Click the toolbar icon and the page becomes editable — a small floating toolbar appears with the essentials: bold, italic, underline, headings, lists, links, and undo/redo. Fix a typo, rewrite a paragraph, restyle a heading, then download it as a clean .html file (your doctype and styling are preserved). Perfect for tidying up AI-generated HTML docs, grabbing a clean copy of a page with your edits, or quickly mocking up wording changes. Private by design: htmlEdit does nothing until you click it, runs only on the tab you're on, and never sends your data anywhere. Edits stay in your browser. The browser companion to the htmlEdit Mac app https://htmledit.io.
