HealthOrbit HIS Bridge checks outpatient claims for coding and coverage problems while you are still on your hospital information system (HIS) screen, before the claim is submitted to the payer. Nothing is typed twice. • Coding validation — checks ICD-10 diagnoses and CPT/service codes against HealthOrbit's coding rules (sequencing, mutually exclusive codes, consultation level, lab frequency) and shows each issue next to the code it affects. • Coverage alerts — flags diagnoses and clinical notes that may fall outside the patient's standard insurance coverage, with the exact text that triggered the alert. • Visit history checks — highlights repeat services and prior-visit conflicts for the same patient. • Works with your HIS as it is — your organisation's administrator maps each HIS screen once; the configuration is shared with everyone in the organisation.
