About Handoff — Send to Phone
Move things between your computer and your phone in one click — iPhone or Android, Windows or Mac.
• Right-click any text, link, image or page → "Send to phone"
• Click the toolbar icon (or press Alt+Shift+H) to open Handoff in the side panel
• Scan the QR code with your phone's camera once — no app to install, no account
• Drag files into the panel to send them; files from your phone appear there to download or copy
• Text and files up to 100 MB are end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM) in your browser
• Nothing is kept: files are deleted after 15 minutes, text after 60 seconds
• Files up to 1.5 GB, free
The perfect "AirDrop for Windows" — and it works just as well on Mac, Linux and ChromeOS.
