The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Guardr - Cookie Consent Manager
Guardr silently denies non-essential cookie consents the moment a banner appears — no clicking required.
HOW IT WORKS
Guardr detects cookie consent banners, analyses the available options, and automatically selects the most privacy-preserving choice. It tries to reject all non-essential cookies, untoggle legitimate interest consents, and navigate multi-step preference panels — all without any user interaction.
WHAT IT HANDLES
- Direct reject/deny buttons
- Toggle-based consent panels (analytics, marketing, advertising)
- Legitimate interest objections
- Vendor and third-party consent lists
- Multi-step preference flows
- 20+ known CMP platforms including OneTrust, Cookiebot, Sourcepoint, Didomi, TrustArc and more
SELF-LEARNING
Guardr remembers how it handled each site and gets faster over time. If it misses a banner, click "Extension Missed a Popup?" to trigger a manual scan.
PRIVACY FIRST
- No personal data is collected or transmitted
- All learned patterns stay on your device
- Optional anonymous telemetry is off by default
- Full source code available on GitHub
LIMITATIONS
Guardr works on most sites but some banners may not be detected or fully handled — particularly those using cross-origin iframes or shadow DOM. On sites with no denial option, Guardr will dismiss the banner as the only available action.
