The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About GTM Beautifier
This extension changes different UI specific things I personally miss in the Google Tag Manager UI.
Most prominently, but not only
- Code editor theme support, supporting various dark-mode flavors and more
- Wider views to bring better general overview and visibility of contents in input fields
- Prominent, and more visible, grey rows for paused list items
Many years ago, close to when Google Tag Manager first launched, someone did create a Chrome extension adding a dark-mode theme to the code editor, but that suddenly disappeared, and I haven't been able to find one again myself.
And since no one else it doing it, I decided to create an extension for this myself.
Other UI changes have been added to, in my opinion, also make the UI more easily used and overviewed.
I will add more stuff and functionality as I see fit, and when time permits it.
Also, if other Chrome extensions adds similar features, I'll evaluate and consider removing those specific features from this extension on a per feature basis.
The extension includes tracking for the purpose of product development and improvement.
This also include tracking of UI changes which suddenly stop working, so that I'm informed if something like that happen.
The options view of this extension allows you to turn of said tracking, but do consider leaving it on for the purpose of keeping this extension running as supposed, while letting me know a bit about what the general use of it.
