About GSkills for Chrome

GSkills for Chrome brings GSkills into the tools your employees use every day, so the right help appears at the right moment without leaving their workflow. It integrates into each tool in that tool’s own look, and grows with new tools and new GSkills features over time. Today it works inside the AI assistants companies rely on, Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude, where it brings your organization’s approved AI use cases right next to the composer. GSkills is Numericoach’s enterprise platform for Google Workspace adoption and generative AI enablement. Many companies already maintain curated libraries of AI use cases inside GSkills: ready-to-use prompts adapted to roles, processes, domains, and company-specific practices. Until now, people often had to leave their assistant, open GSkills, copy a prompt, then come back. This Chrome extension closes that gap. Once signed in with a GSkills account provided by your organization, the same trusted catalogue appears right where people write their requests. What you can do with the extension Browse personalized recommendations. After you connect your GSkills account, the extension shows recommended use cases tailored to your job and to your company’s catalogue. Instead of starting from a blank page every time, you see practical starting points that your organization has already validated. Search and filter with intent. Describe what you want to accomplish, then refine results by application, process, domain, type, or company-only content when available. The goal is simple: help a non-expert find a useful prompt quickly, without needing to know which exact use-case title to look for. Insert prompts in one action. When you select a use case, the extension inserts the prepared prompt into your assistant’s composer so you can review it, adapt a few details if needed, and send it with the assistant’s normal controls. You stay in control of what is sent. Keep your favorites everywhere. Mark use cases as favorites: they are saved to your GSkills account, so you find them again in every supported assistant and on the GSkills web app. Submit a Gemini conversation as a company use case, only when you choose to. If your organization enables this feature, you can save a Gemini conversation back to GSkills. The extension reads the visible conversation only after you activate the save action. You then review and edit the transcript in a confirmation screen before anything is submitted. Nothing is uploaded silently in the background. When you confirm, GSkills may process the submission with AI to help turn it into a reusable use case, then add the result to your company’s configured Google Sheet for review and potential sharing with colleagues. Support measured adoption without friction. When you consult or send GSkills use cases through the extension, identified analytics events help your organization understand which use cases are useful in real work. These events are tied to GSkills account activity for the disclosed product features; they are not advertising trackers. How it works in practice 1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Open the popup or options page and choose Connect GSkills. 3. Sign in on g-skills.fr with the account provided by your organization. This is separate from the account you use for your AI assistant. 4. Open your assistant: gemini.google.com, chatgpt.com or claude.ai. 5. Click the GSkills button next to the composer, explore recommendations, search or filter use cases, insert a prompt, optionally favorite it, and keep working as usual. 6. On Gemini, if enabled by your company, use the save action to review and submit a conversation for company reuse. Who it is for The extension is designed for employees and teams that already use GSkills inside a company or institutional instance. It is especially useful for people who want practical AI help without becoming prompt engineers: sales, support, HR, project management, marketing, operations, training, analysis, and other roles that benefit from reusable examples. Administrators and adoption leads also benefit because validated use cases stay closer to where people actually work, which improves consistency and reduces “prompt reinvented from scratch every day.” What the extension does not do It does not replace your AI assistant. It is not an official Google, OpenAI or Anthropic product. It does not run on arbitrary websites. It does not require you to paste your Google, OpenAI or Anthropic password into GSkills. It does not send conversation content to GSkills unless you explicitly open the Gemini save flow, review the transcript, and confirm submission. It does not sell your data or use it for personalized advertising. Privacy, security, and data use in plain language The extension runs only on gemini.google.com, chatgpt.com and claude.ai, and communicates with g-skills.fr for authentication and GSkills features. Sign-in uses an explicit OAuth-style Authorization Code flow with PKCE. A rotating refresh token and related account state can be stored locally in protected extension storage; short-lived access tokens are kept in Chrome session storage. If you submit a Gemini conversation, the reviewed transcript and your account email are sent to GSkills so the submission can be processed into a reusable company use case and reviewed according to your organization’s process. Remote illustrations for use cases are limited to trusted GSkills-related image sources.
