GS fix: Chestny ZNAK scanner for Ozon and WB helps Russian marketplace sellers enter "Chestny ZNAK" (Honest Sign) marking codes into FBS order assembly in the Ozon and Wildberries seller accounts. The two seller accounts expect the GS separator differently. The Ozon marking code field accepts it only as the text \u001d, while Wildberries accepts it only as an F8 or Alt+0029 key press. Many 2D scanners send GS as Ctrl+], which the browser drops, or do not send it at all — and the marketplace rejects the code. That is why sellers keep two scanner setups and switch between them. What the extension does: • on Ozon, types \u001d instead of Ctrl+] and F8 while the code is being scanned; • on Wildberries, passes Ctrl+] to the page as F8 — one scanner setup works for both marketplaces; • restores the separators when the scanner does not send them, based on the marking code structure; • fixes codes scanned with the Russian keyboard layout or with Caps Lock on; • on Ozon, shows Ozon's check result next to the field ("no errors" or the error code), because the Ozon page itself shows nothing on success; • warns right away when a code was scanned only partially. How to use: install the extension, open order assembly in the Ozon or Wildberries seller account and scan the code into the marking code field as usual. Nothing needs to be clicked. The popup shows how many codes were read and fixed, plus links to Barcode1 services: Chestny ZNAK + barcode labels, withdrawing sold codes from circulation and more. What data is sent. The extension works only on seller.ozon.ru and seller.wildberries.ru. It never sends marking codes, order or account data — they are processed only in your browser. To find and fix bugs, it sends anonymous events to barcode1.ru: installation; a code was read and which fixes were needed; Ozon's check result and error codes; for a string it could not parse — the product number (GTIN) and the string length, all other characters hidden.
