greendirect

GreenDirect gently steers your everyday browsing toward greener alternatives, like Ecosia instead of Google or thredUp instead of Shein, with a one-click toggle in a clean sidebar. It's 100% local: no accounts, no tracking, nothing collected. When a redirect is on, GreenDirect gives you a friendly heads-up and a few seconds to choose: switch to the greener site now, or stay where you are. Your search terms carry over automatically, so a Google search picks up right where you left off on Ecosia, with nothing to retype. Not ready to switch everything? A small, dismissible banner tells you when a greener option exists for a site you haven't decided on. There's no pressure, and you can opt in whenever you like. Toggle redirects one at a time, or use Enable All / Disable All to change your habits in a single click. Every check happens in your browser, and nothing is ever sent anywhere. The result is a lighter footprint on the sites you already visit, at your own pace.
