GrabMonkey Downloader

GrabMonkey Downloader adds a small "⬇ Download" button to the top-right corner of the video you are watching. Click it, and the video is handed to the GrabMonkey desktop app on your computer, which saves it for you at the best available quality. The button appears only while a video is actually playing on the page, and stays out of the way the rest of the time. It is built to work across the web, so you can save clips from most pages that use a standard video player. How it works: • Keep the free GrabMonkey desktop app running. • Open a page that is playing a video — the amber Download button appears over the top-right corner of the player. • Click it. The download starts and progresses inside the GrabMonkey app. Privacy first: • The extension communicates only with the GrabMonkey app on your own computer (127.0.0.1 / localhost). Nothing is sent to any external server. • It sends a page's address only when you click the button — never automatically. • No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, and no data collection. GrabMonkey Downloader is a companion to the GrabMonkey desktop app and requires that app to be installed and running.
