The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About GPU Repaint Helper
GPU Repaint Helper requests a fresh compositor frame for the current tab. Use it when part of a page stops refreshing, leaves a stale region, or shows a temporary GPU rendering artifact.
How to use it:
1. Open the extension popup when the current page looks visually stuck.
2. Select "Refresh rendering", or press Alt+Shift+R.
3. The extension briefly refreshes the current tab's visual layer without reloading the page.
- Refresh rendering from the extension popup.
- Use Alt+Shift+R for quick access.
- Built for Chromium-based desktop browsers and tested in Chromium and Vivaldi.
- Runs only after an explicit user action.
- Does not track activity, contact external servers, or collect browsing history.
- Uses only the activeTab and scripting permissions.
This is a targeted rendering workaround. It does not change GPU drivers or browser settings, and it cannot guarantee a fix for every graphics-driver issue.
