Google Docs Auto Word Count

Google Docs hides the live word count bar by default, forcing you to reopen the Word Count menu and enable “Display word count while typing” every time you open a new document. Google Docs Auto Word Count fixes that automatically. As soon as a Google Doc finishes loading, the extension silently enables the live word count setting in the background before you even start typing. The word count bar simply appears at the bottom of the document like it was always enabled. No popups. No extra buttons. No setup. Features - Automatically enables the live word count bar on every Google Doc - Runs silently in the background with no visible UI - Works across document switching and reopened tabs - Lightweight and focused on a single task Privacy - No data collection - No tracking - No sign-in required - Only runs on docs.google.com Built for writers, students, editors, researchers, and anyone tired of turning word count back on manually.
