Go to Last Read Tweet for X

Tired of refreshing X (formerly Twitter) and losing your exact place in your timeline? Go to Last Read Tweet for X is a lightweight, privacy-first extension that acts as a smart bookmark for your feed. It automatically saves your scroll position so you can pick up exactly where you left off—no more endless scrolling to find the last post you read. Normally, when you close your tab, switch apps, or accidentally refresh the page, X forces you back to the very top of the timeline. This extension solves that by silently tracking your progress and injecting a seamless "↓ Go to last read tweet" button when you return. One click, and it intelligently fast-forwards through the timeline until it finds your saved spot. ✨ Key Features: Passive Auto-Save: Just scroll normally. The extension automatically remembers the top visible tweet on your screen whenever you pause. One-Click Catch Up: A native-feeling floating button appears when you return, jumping you right back to your saved position. Manual Bookmarks: Want to save a specific spot? Open the extension popup to manually save your current position at any time. Native UI Integration: Custom toast notifications and buttons are styled to match X’s native design perfectly. 🔒 100% Private & Secure: Your data is yours. This extension operates entirely locally on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or sell your browsing data. No external servers, no background trackers, and no X Developer API keys required.
