The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About GmailPdfAutoPass
GmailPdfAutoPass helps you open monthly electronic bank statements faster.
Create rules using the sender, subject, an optional message-body keyword, and the PDF password. When you open a matching PDF attachment in Gmail, the extension enters the password before the password prompt appears.
Key features:
- Supports multiple banks and multiple rules.
- Ignores changing year and month information when creating subject rules.
- An optional message-body condition distinguishes statements for different recipients in the same mailbox.
- Stops automatic entry when one message matches multiple rules, preventing the wrong password from being used.
- Disables a rule after one incorrect password attempt and asks you to review it.
- An optional vault password encrypts saved PDF passwords with AES-256-GCM.
- Clearly explains that encryption reduces local unauthorized-access risk but cannot protect against malware, a compromised device, higher-privilege extensions, or someone with access to the unlocked computer.
- Turning off the master switch refreshes Gmail and removes the attachment controls.
Privacy highlights:
- Sender, subject, attachment information, and optional message-body conditions are processed locally on the current Gmail page.
- Rules and PDF passwords are stored only in the current Chrome profile.
- No developer cloud, account system, cross-device sync, or remote backup is used. The developer cannot access or recover local data.
- Email, attachments, and passwords are not sent to the developer or third parties.
- No external AI, analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are used.
If password protection is not enabled, PDF passwords are stored unencrypted in the Chrome profile. Users on shared devices should enable password protection. Uninstalling the extension, clearing browser data, or resetting the Chrome profile may delete settings. Keep your own backup when necessary.
Important security notice: no local storage method can guarantee absolute security, even when encryption is enabled. If the operating system, Chrome profile, Gmail account, another extension, or device is compromised, passwords may still be captured while the vault is unlocked, displayed, or automatically entered. Use a strong, unique vault password and keep your device and browser secure.
