That request contains only the title — nothing about you. • Only the resulting numeric Steam IDs (plus a shared API key and your region code, e.g. us/uk) are sent to GG.deals — never the raw title. • Results are cached locally to reduce repeat requests. You are NOT identified: no account info, login, cookies, or per-user ID is sent. The GG.deals API key is shared by all users, so it identifies the extension, not you. As with any website, Steam and GG.deals receive standard request metadata (IP, user-agent); GG Buddy adds nothing beyond that and runs no servers of its own. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
