The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About georeference.it

georeference.it is a crowdsourcing platform for georeferencing natural history collection specimens from GBIF. Millions of biodiversity records lack geographic coordinates — this extension shows georeferencing status and community-validated coordinates directly on GBIF occurrence pages. When you visit a GBIF occurrence page, the extension queries the georeference.it API and displays a panel with the georeferencing status, validated coordinates, and a map. No account needed.
