Gemini Tools

Gemini Tools gives you more control over how Gemini behaves in your browser. It helps preserve the model you intentionally selected and only intervenes when Gemini appears to switch models on its own. The extension is designed to stay out of your way and respect manual user choices. Features Keeps Gemini aligned with your manually selected model Detects and stores your preferred mode from real user interactions Auto-corrects only app-driven model drift Optional notification when a correction is applied Optional hiding of the Gemini upgrade button Settings available directly from the toolbar popup How it works Watches Gemini pages for model state changes Saves your preferred model locally in your browser Re-applies your preferred model only when needed Uses guardrails to avoid excessive repeated actions Privacy No account login required No external analytics or tracking Settings are stored locally in your browser Notes This extension depends on Gemini’s web UI structure. If Google changes the interface, behavior may require updates. If your account does not have access to a specific model, the extension cannot force unavailable modes.
