The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Framebite - High-Accuracy YouTube Captions, Subtitle Translation & Summary
Framebite appears directly on YouTube. Use AI to generate high-accuracy captions, translate subtitles, summarize key points, and answer questions about the video.
Main features:
• High-accuracy captions
For public YouTube videos with no captions or inaccurate auto-captions, Pro users can generate high-accuracy captions. If shared captions already exist, anyone can use them for free.
• Subtitle translation
AI translates subtitles line by line, with the original and translation shown together.
• Page translation
Turn on page translation and video titles on the home page and in search results, plus descriptions and comments on the video page, appear in your language next to the original.
• Summary
AI summarizes the video with clickable timestamps, so you can understand the main points without watching from start to finish.
• AI Q&A
Ask about anything you did not understand, continue the conversation, and use timestamps in the answers to jump back to the video.
• Full transcript
Read and search the full transcript, then click any line to jump to that point in the video.
• History and export
A history of processed videos is saved in this browser, so you can reopen a video or export its transcript, summary, and Q&A as Markdown.
Google sign-in is required to generate high-accuracy captions, translate subtitles and pages, generate summaries, and use AI Q&A.
Free includes 100 points per UTC day. Pro includes 25,000 points per subscription month, shared across summaries, subtitle translation, page translation, and questions, plus a separate 1,000 minutes of high-accuracy captions per subscription month.
Data use:
When you sign in, Framebite stores your account, plan, and usage information. When you generate a summary, translate subtitles, or ask a question, information about the current video and its captions is sent to Framebite and its AI providers to generate the result. When you ask a question, your question is sent as well. Framebite uploads the video's audio to its private Google Cloud Storage and sends it to ElevenLabs for transcription only when you explicitly request high-accuracy captions. Temporary audio is deleted after processing and retained for no longer than 24 hours. The captions may be retained as shared captions for that public video. See the Privacy Policy for details on storage, sharing, and deletion.
When Framebite translates titles, descriptions, and comments on YouTube pages, that text is also sent to Framebite and its AI providers; cookies, sign-in credentials, and the full page are not sent.
