About Frame Screenshot

"I want to crop an image to a specific pixel size." This screenshot extension is designed for exactly that. Main Feature: Frame Screenshot You can place a pre-specified "frame" on the screen and neatly crop and save only the area within that frame. It is perfect for when you want to capture images at a specific size, such as social media headers, thumbnails, or banner images. This extension supports internationalization (i18n) and is available in both Japanese and English. Basic Capture Features In addition to frame-based capturing, it also includes the following features to suit your needs: 🖥️ Save Visible Area: Captures exactly what is currently visible on your screen. 📜 Save Entire Page: Saves long, scrolling pages as a single continuous image. ✂️ Create Selection: Freely create a selection area by dragging your mouse. You can move or fine-tune its size before saving. How to Use You can launch and use the extension via the "Popup Menu" by clicking the extension icon, or from the "Right-click Menu" (Context Menu) on your screen. You can resize the selection frame by dragging its four corners. You can move the frame in 1-pixel increments using the arrow keys, or in 10-pixel increments by pressing Shift + the arrow keys. For the save destination, a subfolder is created within your designated Chrome download folder, and the image is saved there. If the folder name is left blank, no subfolder will be created. 💡 Tips and Notes on Save Formats This extension supports 4 image formats. Recommended Usage: As a rough guide, "WEBP" typically results in the smallest file size for standard image saving, while "PNG" is better suited for saving very long web pages. Note on AVIF format: Because AVIF relies heavily on browser compatibility and your environment, it may not always save correctly. Please treat this as an experimental (bonus) feature.
