About Foyerr Import Helper
Foyerr Import Helper saves your IMDb, Letterboxd or Kinopoisk library to a JSON file that you can import into Foyerr. It reads your library with the session you're already signed in with and builds the file locally in your browser. The file has titles, years, dates, ratings, the site's own IDs, and TMDB movie or TV IDs.
WHAT IT EXPORTS
From IMDb:
• Ratings, 1 to 10, dated with when you rated the title
• Titles marked as watched without a rating, dated with when you marked them
• Rated titles you marked as watched at a different time than you rated them, dated with when you marked them
• Episodes you rated or marked as watched, with the series and the season and episode numbers
• Your watchlist, with the date each title was added
From Letterboxd:
• Ratings from your diary, dated with the day you watched the film
• Ratings you set outside the diary, dated with when you rated the film
• Diary entries without a rating, with the day you watched the film
• Films marked as watched that aren't in your diary
• Your watchlist, with the date each film was added
From Kinopoisk:
• Ratings, 1 to 10
• Watched titles without a rating
• Watch later, with the date each title was added
• Favorites, with the date each title was added
TMDB IDs come from Wikidata. IMDb titles are matched by their IMDb ID, and an episode gets the TMDB ID of its series. For a Letterboxd film that Wikidata doesn't have, the extension reads the ID from the film's page on Letterboxd.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in on the site your library is on.
2. Click the extension icon to open the side panel.
3. Pick the site and click "Export library".
4. Keep the panel open while the extension reads your library.
5. The JSON file is saved to your Downloads folder.
PRIVACY
The extension builds your library in your browser. The developer does not receive or store it.
The extension contacts only:
• api.graphql.imdb.com, letterboxd.com and kinopoisk.ru, to read your library with your existing signed-in session
• query.wikidata.org, to match titles with TMDB IDs
Wikidata receives only what it needs for matching: the site's title IDs and, for some Kinopoisk titles, names and years. It does not receive your username or account ID, ratings, dates, list membership, or session cookies.
The extension has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated server.
LIMITATIONS
The export depends on how each site builds its pages, and on the API that IMDb's website uses. If a site changes them, or shows a CAPTCHA or a "Just a moment" check, the export stops and asks you to try again.
DISCLAIMER
This is an independent, unofficial extension. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the sites or services it works with.
