Formula Bridge - Web Formula OCR & LaTeX Editor

Formula Bridge is a browser extension for recognizing, editing, and exporting mathematical formulas, suitable for students, teachers, researchers, and everyday office users. When you see a formula on a webpage, in course materials, papers, or AI conversations, you can select the formula area to recognize the image as editable LaTeX. For formulas on adapted web pages, you can also directly click "Copy to Formula Bridge" to import, eliminating the need for manual copying. Key Features • Screenshot Formula Recognition: Select a formula area on a webpage, PDF, or image and recognize it as LaTeX. • One-Click Formula Import: Click "Copy to Formula Bridge" next to a formula on an adapted webpage to directly import the formula content. • LaTeX Editing and Live Preview: Modify the source code and instantly see the rendered formula. • Common Symbols and Templates: Provides frequently used math symbols and formula templates to speed up input. • Multiple Copy and Export Options: Supports copying LaTeX, copying Word equations, and exporting as PNG images. • Local Draft Saving: Keeps the formula content being edited and your common settings so you can pick up where you left off. Permission Notes Formula Bridge needs access to the current webpage content so that when you actively use "Screenshot Formula Recognition," "Webpage Formula Import," or "Copy to Formula Bridge," it can read the formula you selected and display the operation entry next to adapted formulas. The extension will not modify the body text or original formula content on the webpage. Formula Bridge uses the storage permission solely to save login state, edit drafts, preference settings, and temporary data required for recognition tasks, ensuring the extension operates correctly.
