About Form Keeper - Recover Lost Form Input & Autofill

Never lose what you typed in a form again. Form Keeper automatically saves what you type into web forms, encrypted on your device, so you can get it back in one click after a timeout, an accidental Back button, or a browser crash. Nothing you type is ever sent to a server. Completely free, no usage limits, no account. And for details you type again and again, there is one-click autofill. ■ Sound familiar? - You typed a long message and a session timeout wiped it - You pressed Back by accident and the form went blank - Your browser crashed halfway through an application form - You submitted, got an error, and the fields came back empty - You keep typing the same name, address, and email ■ Get it back, even after it's gone It saves in the background while you type. You don't have to do anything. - Saves one second after you stop typing (and at least every 10 seconds while you keep typing) - Saves again just before you close the page, so your last words are kept - Reopen the page and a “Restore?” notice appears. One click puts everything back - Pick any earlier version from your history (time travel) - Preview exactly what will change before you restore - Search the history of the whole site by words you typed, even if you can no longer reach the original page - Still works when a page layout changes a little: fields are matched again before restoring - Saves and restores forms embedded from another site (iframes) - On long text fields, an icon lets you pick from past entries ■ Your input stays on your device (our top priority) - Nothing is sent to any server. The extension contains no networking code, and its security policy blocks network access too - Saved data is encrypted with AES-GCM and stored inside your browser - Never saved: passwords (including ones revealed with “show password”), card numbers, PINs, one-time codes, search boxes, and hidden fields - Add a master password for stronger protection (if you forget it, the data cannot be read) - Exclude sites, pages, or single fields from saving with the right-click menu - Optionally delete a page's history automatically after you submit the form and move on (a setting) - Delete your data anytime. Change how long it is kept (default 30 days) and how many versions are kept (default 5 per page) - Export and import an encrypted backup file - Why each permission is needed, and exactly what is stored, is explained in Settings under “Permissions & privacy” ■ Fill repeat forms in one click - Give a saved version a name and pin it to reuse on the same form anytime (templates) - Save your name, address, email, phone and more as a profile, and Form Keeper recognizes the matching fields and fills them in (Optimized for Japanese forms: split names, furigana, postal codes, prefecture and date dropdowns. Common English field names such as first name, email, phone, and address are recognized too.) - Job-hunting fields common in Japan (university, faculty, expected graduation, contact while on vacation) can be saved too - Preview which value goes into which field before filling, and undo for 10 seconds afterwards - Press Alt+Shift+F to fill with the last profile you used - See which fields could not be filled, and why ■ How to use (no setup needed) 1. Fill in a form (it saves automatically) 2. If it disappears, open the same page and click “Restore” 3. For details you repeat, click the toolbar icon and choose a profile or a pinned version After installing, a sample form page opens so you can try it. ■ Good to know - The page URL, site name, and save time are not encrypted, because they are used to list your history (what you typed is encrypted) - Without a master password, the encryption key is stored inside your browser. On a shared computer, we recommend setting one - Depending on how a site is built, saving or restoring may not work. If so, click “Copy diagnostics” in the popup and paste it into your message (it contains only the site's domain and the number of fields) - It does not work on Chrome's own pages (chrome://) or on local files (file://) - The interface is shown in English or Japanese, following your browser's language ■ Contact and feedback https://kose-dev.pages.dev/#contact ■ Support Form Keeper is free and has no ads.
