The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ForkPilot
`ForkPilot` is a Chrome extension that gives users one place to search and locate browser content.
After installation, users can search bookmarks, browsing history, currently open tabs, top sites, recently closed pages, and download records from a unified search entry in the popup or new tab page. When needed, they can also open a URL directly, switch to an already open tab, restore recently closed pages, or start a web search through the browser's default search provider.
Useful scenarios include:
- Quickly finding previously saved websites in bookmarks
- Locating a page when many tabs are open
- Looking up content visited before through browsing history
- Restoring a page that was just closed
- Turning the new tab page into a faster starting point for search and resume-work tasks
Main features include:
- Search bookmarks
- Search browsing history
- Search currently open tabs
- Search top sites
- Search recently closed pages
- Search download records
- Open a webpage directly by entering a URL
- Start a web search through the browser's default search provider by entering keywords
- Use a search homepage from the new tab page
- Perform quick actions from results, such as switching tabs, restoring pages, and copying links
`ForkPilot` is designed to reduce the need to jump between bookmarks, history, tabs, and the new tab page, making browser-content lookup more direct and centralized.
