The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About ForgePlay

ForgePlay routes supported web video into a user-controlled local playback helper running on your own machine. Instead of relying solely on in-browser streaming, ForgePlay can hand compatible video links to a localhost helper for private, local-first playback with intelligent caching and user-selectable quality. Features: • Intercepts supported video links and opens local playback • Works with standard videos and Shorts • Local caching for fast repeat playback • User-selectable playback quality • Settings and localhost helper integration • Privacy-focused, no remote account or cloud service required ForgePlay communicates only with a helper running locally on 127.0.0.1 and does not transmit browsing data to remote servers.
