About FMD - AMAC
FMD - AMAC is a research and due diligence tool designed to help users retrieve and review publicly available information from the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) registry in a structured research workspace.
Instead of manually reviewing information across an AMAC manager profile, FMD - AMAC extracts supported registry fields and organizes them into a standardized format for easier review.
How it works
• Open FMD - AMAC and enter the research workspace.
• Paste a valid AMAC fund manager profile URL.
• FMD - AMAC opens the corresponding AMAC profile and processes the publicly available registry information.
• Extracted information is returned to the FMD - AMAC workspace in a structured format.
• Use the generated research tools to continue independent research where needed.
Information displayed
Depending on the information available in the AMAC profile, FMD - AMAC can organize and display:
• Native legal company name
• English company name, where available
• Standardized company-name translations
• Establishment date
• Business type
• Standardized investor type
• AMAC registration code
• Organization code
• City, province and office address information
• Structured investor description
• Controllers, management personnel and individual investors identified in supported AMAC sections
• Standardized English names and professional titles where available
• Management biographies generated from the available registry information
• Registered fund information used by the research-prompt generator
• A generated research prompt for further independent research
Research workspace
Version 5.5 introduces a dedicated FMD - AMAC research workspace. Results are displayed outside the source AMAC page, allowing company information, location data, management profiles, investor classification and research material to be reviewed together in one structured interface.
The workspace also includes Boolean research shortcuts and a copyable, expandable research prompt to help users continue their own research using external sources.
Translations and standardization
FMD - AMAC uses built-in dictionaries and translation handling to standardize supported Chinese company names, personal names, locations, professional titles and investor classifications.
When a predefined translation is unavailable, the extension may use Google Translate to translate supported text into English. Translation results may be cached locally in the user's browser to reduce repeated translation requests and improve performance.
Data & Privacy
• FMD - AMAC is designed to process publicly available information from supported AMAC registry pages.
• The extension does not sell user data.
• Translation results may be stored locally in the browser to improve performance and reduce repeated translation requests.
• Registry information is processed for extraction, translation, standardization and display within the extension's research workflow.
• FMD - AMAC does not require users to create an account to use its AMAC extraction functionality.
