The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Flickr Metadata Assistant
Flickr Metadata Assistant helps you draft, review, publish, and organize metadata for photos you own on Flickr, directly from Chrome.
Open one of your Flickr photo pages to generate a title, description, and relevant tags using the photo and its existing page information. Review and edit every field before publishing changes to Flickr.
The extension can also recommend relevant Flickr groups based on photo tags, join public groups, request invitations to private groups, submit photos to eligible group pools, and monitor approved or pending submissions.
Features:
- Generate titles, descriptions, and tags from photo content
- Choose OpenAI, DeepSeek, local Ollama vision, or heuristic drafting
- Configure writing tone and visual interpretation style
- Preserve and reuse existing Flickr metadata
- Review and edit generated content before publishing
- Optionally remove location data before publishing
- Automatically load group memberships and recommendations
- Discover relevant Flickr groups using photo tags
- Join public groups after reviewing their rules
- Request invitations to invitation-only groups with an editable message
- Prevent duplicate invitation requests
- Submit photos to eligible group pools
- Track approved and pending group submissions
- Remove photos from group pools
- Detect group restrictions such as required geolocation, media type, content type, and safety level
- Display actionable feedback when Flickr rejects a group submission
- Open Flickr safely when you want to leave a group
- Export and restore settings, drafts, and group-tracking data using a local backup file
- Operate only on photos owned by the connected Flickr account
Cloud AI features require your own provider API key. Local drafting through Ollama requires a compatible local installation. Generated metadata and group recommendations should always be reviewed before use.
