About FleetFoot Engine
Universal. Powerful. Lightweight. Private.
FleetFoot Engine controls playback. It does it extremely well. It doesn't spy on you.
SPEED, YOUR WAY
• Any speed from 0.10× to 16×, with presets, a favorite speed, the previous speed and a speed you get while holding a key.
• Natural voices at any speed.
• The time left at your speed, and the time you have saved by playing faster.
THE PAUSES, FASTER
Turn on Skip silences and the pauses play at the speed you chose for silences; the moment the sound returns, so does the speed you were using. The sound is heard only on your device, never recorded or sent.
WHEN A SITE FIGHTS BACK
Some sites keep putting the speed back. You decide what happens: let it go and be told, keep restoring your speed with a brake, or with no brake.
MEMORY OF YOUR CHOICE
Remember nothing, one speed for every site, or a speed and a few settings for each site.
EVERYTHING ELSE YOU REACH FOR
• A–B loop to repeat a part, skips back and forward, picture-in-picture.
• Keyboard shortcuts on the page and in the browser, a small overlay on the player, a right-click menu.
• Several players on a page, players inside frames, sites that load new videos without reloading.
• Eighteen languages, ten color themes; a keyboard, a mouse or a finger.
FULL PRIVACY
This extension does not send your browsing activity anywhere.
• No telemetry, no usage statistics, no accounts, no ads, no affiliate links.
• Settings stay on your device. Export them, import them, or delete everything in two clicks.
• It runs only where you allow it: when you call it on a tab, on the sites you choose, or on every site.

WHERE IT CANNOT HELP
Works with standard HTML5 media and a broad range of custom players. It cannot work on the browser's own pages or on the extension stores, on media that is not an HTML5 video or audio element, on sound or video that a page plays without putting it on the page, inside a frame from another site unless that site is allowed too, where a protected player refuses an action, or with a feature your browser does not offer on that device. Skip silences needs sound the browser lets extensions hear. So it does not work on protected media, or on many recordings that come from another site. At very high or very low speeds, browsers may play audio differently.
