The extension works by letting you create simple rules to match your data to specific fields. It uses two main methods: 1. Keyword Matching: Identifies fields based on their IDs or labels. 2. Regex Patterns: Uses Regular Expressions to find labels or placeholders that follow a specific pattern. As an open-source project, Flash Fill focuses on being a lightweight and transparent tool. It doesn't try to guess everything; instead, it relies on the rules you set to ensure your data goes exactly where it’s supposed to. Whether you are testing software, filling out repetitive internal forms, or managing unique identifiers, Flash Fill provides a clean way to get the job done.
