The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About FastPDF: PDF Editor for Chrome — Edit, Fill, Sign & Print
FastPDF is a PDF editor for Chrome that lets you edit text and images, fill PDF forms, annotate pages and draw signatures in your browser. Open a file from your computer, make your changes and download the finished PDF. No account, no added watermark and no document upload to our servers.
EDIT PDF TEXT AND IMAGES
• Change or delete supported original text blocks with Edit PDF.
• Move and resize text and images already in your document.
• Replace an existing image with a PNG, JPEG or WebP file.
• Add new text anywhere on the page, including on scanned forms.
• Adjust text size and color, and undo changes when needed.
HIGHLIGHT, DRAW AND ANNOTATE
Use FastPDF as a PDF annotator for notes, document reviews and everyday markup. Highlight an area, draw freehand, add rectangles or place text notes. Move and resize added objects, select several together, duplicate them or adjust their stacking order.
FILL PDF FORMS AND SIGN
Fill supported AcroForm text fields, checkboxes and dropdowns directly in the editor. For a form without interactive fields, place text where you need it. Draw a signature with your mouse or touch input and position it on the page. Download the completed document or open your browser's print dialog.
ORGANIZE PDF PAGES
• Rotate, reorder, duplicate and delete pages.
• Drag thumbnails to change the page order.
• Merge another PDF into the current document.
• Insert a blank page or extract a page to a separate PDF.
• Export the current page as a PNG image.
READ AND FIND
View PDFs with page thumbnails, zoom controls and document bookmarks when available. Search across the document. Switch to Read mode to select and copy original PDF text.
OPEN A FILE IN A FEW CLICKS
1. Add FastPDF to Chrome and pin the extension.
2. Click the icon and choose a PDF, or drag a local file into the editor.
3. Edit, annotate, fill or sign your document.
4. Use Download to save your changes to your device.
You can also use Open link in FastPDF from a link's context menu. Automatic opening of PDF links is optional: enable it in Settings and grant website access when Chrome asks. Some links require downloading the file first, especially when a website requires authentication or restricts access.
LOCAL EDITING, WITHOUT SAVED PROJECTS
PDF processing happens on your device. FastPDF has no account system, advertising or analytics. Local-file editing works offline after the extension is installed. Opening a PDF from a website still requires access to that website.
FastPDF does not restore earlier projects. Opening the editor without a document link starts with the file picker. Documents, annotations and undo history are not automatically saved or restored. Download the PDF before closing or reloading the tab.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Original-content editing supports top-level text and image objects in compatible PDFs. Choose from seven bundled font families with regular and bold styles for new and replacement text. The selected font is embedded in the saved PDF; the original font and line lengths may differ. Scanned text needs OCR to become editable text, and OCR is not included. You can still add text and annotations over a scan.
Signatures are drawn marks, not certificate-based digital signatures. Deleting an object is not certified secure redaction. Export makes annotations and filled form values part of the PDF page. Advanced XFA forms, radio-button groups and nested PDF content groups are not currently supported.
