Fade Highlight

Ever been on a video call or sharing your screen and wanted to draw someone's attention to a specific piece of text? You highlight it with your cursor, but the moment you click anywhere else, the highlight disappears. Fade Highlight solves this. Simply select any text on a page and it stays highlighted in yellow for 10 seconds before gently fading away. No clicking buttons, no keyboard shortcuts — just select text like you normally would. Built for: - Video calls and screen sharing: highlight text so everyone on the call can see it, without rushing. - Presentations: draw attention to key information while you talk through it. -Reading and research: temporarily mark sections as you scan through content Features: - Highlights selected text in yellow with a smooth fade-out after 10 seconds - Works on any webpage - Automatically adapts to dark-themed websites — uses a contrasting highlight colour so text stays readable - Works across paragraphs and different text elements - Click the extension icon to toggle on/off — when off, your normal system text selection works as usual No data collection, no permissions beyond what's needed, no tracking
