ExtNest Video Downloader

ExtNest Video Downloader finds the media a web page plays and saves it to your computer, in the quality you choose. PLEASE NOTE Because of the Chrome Web Store policies and the YouTube Terms of Service, this extension does NOT download videos from YouTube. FEATURES • Detects media files as well as segmented streams (HLS and DASH), including on websites that load their videos in pieces. • Pick the resolution you want, or save the sound alone. • Local assembly: streams are put together into a single file on your computer with WebAssembly. Your videos never go through our servers. • A clean popup, an optional side panel, a right-click menu and keyboard shortcuts. • Several streams assembled at once, retry after a failure, downloads resumed after a network drop, speed and time left. • Download history (kept as long as you want), file names from the page title, and your own rules per site: a file name, a quality, or the audio alone. • Works with the players of social networks, video platforms, online courses and screen-recording tools that hide their videos from the page. • Details of every media, silent preview on hover, pinned media kept across pages, MKV as an option. • Light and dark themes, text size. English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian. FAIR USE Only download what you have the right to save. Content protected by DRM isn't supported. FREE AND PAID Free: 3 downloads to try it out, right after install, no account needed. Optional unlimited plan: $3 / month, or $24.99 once for life. PRIVACY The videos you watch and the pages you visit stay on your computer. To count free downloads, the extension only tells our server the kind of download and the name of the media server (for example cdn.example.com) — never an address.
