Expert Pick

With Expert Pick, you can highlight any element on a webpage — text, images, code blocks, or sections — and open a side-panel chat to ask questions about it. It handles context automatically, giving you relevant, element-specific answers. You can even create your own “experts”: define custom prompts, assign names and descriptions, and choose which ones appear in your quick-access menu. Expert Pick supports multi-model configuration: you can choose among built-in providers or plug in any OpenAI-compatible API endpoint (with custom base URL and model ID). Switching models is seamless. A simple floating quick-menu appears when you select text or elements — ideal for “on-the-fly” questions and insights. To keep your workflows safe and portable, Expert Pick lets you sign in via Google and back up all your settings, custom experts, and configuration to Drive (in a file like expertpick_backup.json). This allows you to restore or sync across different devices without sharing your API keys or sensitive data. When chatting, the side-panel streams AI responses, lets you cancel mid-stream, browse history, and switch experts — delivering a smooth, interactive experience.
