Excel Web Dark Mode

Give Microsoft Excel for the web a comfortable, persistent dark appearance—including the canvas-rendered worksheet grid. Excel Web Dark Mode applies a color-preserving luminance filter to Excel’s web interface so bright backgrounds become dark while familiar spreadsheet colors remain recognizable. Features: • One-click toolbar toggle • Alt+Shift+D keyboard shortcut • Preference sync through Chrome • Support for Excel Web, Microsoft 365 launch pages, and Excel frames opened through SharePoint or OneDrive • Natural colors preserved for photographs and video • Automatically disabled during printing • No analytics, advertisements, accounts, or remote code The extension stores only one setting: whether dark mode is enabled.
