Etsy Smart Shopper — by Omnius Creative

Stop opening 10 tabs and forgetting which one had the best deal. Etsy Smart Shopper adds a comparison widget directly to every Etsy listing page. It reads the price automatically, lets you rate quality, add notes, and log price history — then ranks all your saved listings so you know exactly which one to buy. ────────────────────────────────── WHAT HAPPENS ON EVERY ETSY LISTING ────────────────────────────────── A widget appears automatically below the price section. It detects the current price and any active discount without you doing anything. One click adds the listing to your personal comparison list. ───────────────────────────────── WHAT'S IN THE POPUP DASHBOARD ───────────────────────────────── Open the extension icon to see all your saved listings in one place. COMPARE TAB — All your listings side by side. Each gets a score based on two factors you control: price (lower = better) and your quality rating. Adjust the weighting with a slider. The best pick is highlighted automatically. SUMMARY TAB — A clean ranked table. Useful for a quick final decision before you buy. ALERTS TAB — All your active price targets in one view. See which ones have already been met. ADD TAB — Manually add listings from any site, not just Etsy. ──────────────────────────── ALL FEATURES AT A GLANCE ──────────────────────────── ★ Auto price detection — reads price from the listing page, no copy-paste ★ Price history log — track how a listing's price changes over time ★ Fake sale detection — if the seller raised the price before the "discount," you'll see it in the history ★ Target price alerts — set a price, get a browser notification when it drops there ★ Quality rating (1–5 stars) — your personal score for each listing ★ Weighted smart score — you decide how much price vs. quality matters ★ Notes per listing — shipping time, material quality, seller reviews ★ Side-by-side comparison — the feature none of the other Etsy tools have ★ AliExpress & eBay search links — check if the same product is cheaper elsewhere ★ CSV export — take your comparison list into Excel or Sheets ★ 100% local storage — nothing leaves your browser, ever ──────────────────── HOW TO USE IT ──────────────────── 1. Install the extension (free, no account needed) 2. Browse any Etsy listing — etsy.com/listing/... 3. The Smart Shopper widget appears below the price 4. Click "+ Add to comparison" 5. Repeat for every listing you're considering 6. Open the extension popup to see your ranked comparison 7. Buy the winner ─────────────────────────────── WHO THIS IS FOR ─────────────────────────────── This extension is built for Etsy buyers — not sellers. If you've ever spent 20 minutes with 8 tabs open trying to figure out which candle, print, or handmade item is actually the best deal, this is for you. Gift shoppers comparing custom jewelry across multiple sellers. Wedding planners sourcing decorations from different shops. Anyone who wants to know if an Etsy "sale" is a real discount or just a price that was raised a week ago. ───────────────────── PRIVACY ───────────────────── All data is stored locally in Chrome's storage API. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics. Your comparison list, price history, and alerts are yours — they never leave your browser. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Etsy, Inc.
